I do all vocals and play all guitars on "Phosphorescence", and was helped out by my friend Dave Rusell who ran a studio in Sydney (he produced the CD and plays Djembe and keyboards on some tracks) and Phil Groves who does the keyboards and programming.

I was sort of aiming for a sound akin to Cafe Del Mar and Moby(maybe Sting) I guess but I am influenced by most types of music from classical to blues to dance. Well see what you think. Hope you like it. It was a long trip -4 years to get it out including several trips to Sydney and a whole lot of late nights trying to think how the cover should go. I'm pleased with the design, whose creation was some of my photographs, and design work by my partner and overall final design by a design artist at Amstore here in Wellington New Zealand. I am very much influenced by the natural world and have been gently ribbed by friends who say most of my songs always have something about sky and sea in them! But I guess the ocean is so relaxing and when the sea is blue and the day is sunny , whether it be in Sydney or New Zealand there is nothing else like it.
